*sniff* My game crashed just as we were starting. Soo...that's it...I'm off to New Egg to buy parts. No more terrible fps or game crashing for me.

Got stuck on a curb during quali... then ended up ripping my wheel off the table during the race.. took too long to put it back in position :(

Quitting was the only option lol

Was not happy with my race at all. Could have done it in one stint, but took a second pit with 7 minutes to go and lost a spot. Totally unnecessary move on my part, won't be doing that again.

Man that was a fast field.

With the exception of one GT guy who punted me from behind while in A mid corner move, most people raced pretty clean. Had 2 incidents with same Gt, but I knew he was trying to keep his position with others right on his tail, so that's all I have to say about that.

Well... at least I finished and not in bad form I might add.

Was different seeing Jeff in the Lambo.

My 1st GTR2 race win :)

Not too much to say, won it on strategy although i almost didn't make it, opted to make the 575 1 stop, knew i could do it from testing but the fuel was marginal and i wasnt sure how the fuel would burn trying to get around traffic. In the end i made it, tried to end it 1 lap earler by slowing to a near halt as i was on fumes but crossed the line with a few secs remaining by mistake and had to go around another whole lap in top gear.

Had some minor incidents with backmarkers and a very scary moment with Tim in the 1st lefthander on lap 2 or 3.

Got punted off track once by a lapped porka that decided to outbrake me at the end of the straight but managed to keep the car running and not hit anything.

Anyways, thanks to all, was a great race, lets hope the new season brings good things :)

Edit: Just downloaded the replay to have a quick look at the lag, seems i owe Michael Chriss a huge apology, i am so sorry mate, i did not realise my lag was THAT bad and i was the cause of your off at the hairpin on the 1st flying lap. I am really sorry to all that were affected, my replay is so dramatically different, i guess i need to reconsider this series if i am going to cause issues with a ferrari that looks like its going sideways half the time :(

I was running so strong... Hoping to win this one or at least finish 2nd. I was right on target even after a quick off early in the race.

The Lambo is so gentle on the tires I could have done the entire race without changing tires :-)
Came up to my first stop and was going for fuel only to save time. Stopped and navigated the clipboard only to be told "turn off the motor"... ARGH! I had programmed a different ignition key over the week to use on a touch screen instead of my wheel buttons. Of course, it was a different keystroke and I could not turn off my motor.

After smacking the keyboard a bunch of times it finally turned off but I could not get the thing to restart. In a last attempt to get going (already 1+ laps down by this time) I ALT-TAB'd out to load the Touchbuddy software so I can use the other PC to jump-start my Lambo. ALT-TAB turned into a CTD and my day was done.

Darn it... I was having so much fun in that Lambo. It and I just match so well.

It was very nice race unfortunetly my engine broke 30 min before the end of the race. I am not use to race for 2 houers so i guess i should had lower revs.
I am sorry Dave Pike that i toke you off on tha last corner but the race was very laggy for me and i didnt do this in purpose.

Ya Dave, that first lap incident was disapointing. It's a long race and to get knocked off on the first lap really takes the fun out of it. As I watch the replay, it was a very optimisic move on your part. I doubt you would have made the corner if you didn't hit me. Oh well, shit happens, that's racing.

It was the second time you hit me from behind that put me on my roof and out of the race. After you tagged me and got me sideways, as I tried to save it, you hit me again broadside and turned me over.

I follwed you around for quite a few laps a managed not to hit you.

Kind of takes the fun out of it.

I have mixed feelings here lol. I made a 400k gti race then eat something then jumped to gto race after qualy started. I had no setup etc. and had no experince on wet with 575. I tried doing a lap or two in qualy but it was useless i couldnt control the car and i stuck on sand so i just pressed esc.

I started from the end of grid and it didnt take long to catch the gts. I had some pace then started to pass. I got 2nd place in 10th lap i think coz of Jeff and Joe's crash i think, might be Dennis too dunno exactly. I was chasing Dave after that time. I was faster than him and closing the gap. Then he made a mistake and i came to his bumper. But he was lagging too badly. His car was everywhere, especially on corners. I was scaring to get too close but i had to pass him. In lap 14 or 15 i think, I entered last corner good and Dave visited outside of the track a bit then entered track on that time it seemed. He was lagging badly and i was too close to him then i hit his shadow (lag) on entrance of s-f straight and i lost control of the car and hit the wall. My car was badly damaged. I drove 1 lap to enter pits. Damage was huge. I stayed in the pits for 2 minutes. After pit exit, i tried my best. I made some fast laps and tried to catch others. I raised to 3rd position till 2nd pits. After 2nd pits i made fast laps again and got 2nd place. I think Dave was thinking 1 stopper so he was 1 lap ahead of me while i was 2nd. I got my lap back from Dave and started to close the gap. After a couple of laps later, i realized that my fuel is getting less more than gtr2 hud says. Thats why I slowed down a bit, gave the lap to Dave again and let Dennis closing the gap. When gap reduced like 2 secs i started to drive normal. I thought fuel was enough but i was wrong. Dave entered pits to get some fuel i think and he was 1 lap ahead of me. So when timer reached 0 we (me and Dennis) passed s-f line before Dave and we had 1 lap to go coz Dave didnt pass s-f yet. But when we pass s-f i had 0,2 liters of fuel LOL and got out of fuel before race finish.

At last i can say that im not happy with the result thinking that i made no mistake myself and was 1 of the fastest guys on the track.

Everything which could have gone wrong for me here, actually did go wrong!

I was fast in the wet, but I have a hard time finding any dry setup for the RSR.

I began with hard tires front and rear, but this was a very bad choice, as I felw off the course in the very first corner due to the rear end locking under what would have otherwise been just regular downshifting. I came into the pits about 30 laps early to swap for mediums on the rear; that seemed to cure most issues I had with high speed oversteer and instability under braking... oh well. I guess I'll know what not to do next time ;-)

Dave, I know you couldn't have meant it, but your lag punted me off at least once. I think, on our ends, your car's physical properties become 200% larger than normal.. almost as though you have a 'force-field' around your 575. However, nice win! You had a strong run otherwise.

Michael Chriss, RacerX?? Dude, it's me; RoadBeef. Get on vent and let me know which events you'll be doing in the future. I'll definitely love to tag along with you.

Hmm, thought this would be a wet race so i was on a rain-setup all the 2 hrs lol. Bad lap-times with full wing and too soft suspension, too less stagger. Never raced before with weather, still dont know if weather changes in race-time or not.
