Intro to nGT Extreme

Screwed up on many things, but the killer was hit ESC while pitting thinking that would bring the pit options board back up. No! It takes you out of the race completely. I knew better...

Huh, first time in nearly 100 races my computer locked up, "nv display driver error". Crap.
I sincerely hope GTR didn't do it's usual retarded thing and leave my car in the middle of the track. Many many apologies if it did, my kit is usually in tip-top shape.
Damn thing is getting obsolete anyways, I think it's over 6 months old. Out the second story window it goes ...

Lost connection with less than a minute to go :( It was a good race up till that point as I was in the middle of a 6th, 7th and 8th sandwhich. I hope it didn;t cause any issues when I was disco'd. Conrats to the podium. good race guys.

errghh! $#@!@#! Just noticed the time. Still at the office, in the server room, didn't get to unregister for the race, sorry. Doesn't appear to have been a problem looking at the number of people who raced. But sorry anyway. I had to shut down and move all my servers and a full rack so the HVAC guys can pull out two airhandlers and put in two new ones. My weekend will be spent here. :(

Decided to switch to ferrari in practice,too many rsr's i thought.Started 12th,got a bump in t1[prolly my fault,just eased up too early],went all the way back to last.I had put fuel in for 32Minutes,same for the pitstop.With just over 33mins to go,got a low fuel warning,not good.I pitted next lap, hit enter before i realised i should add fuel but then crossed my fingers.With about 3laps to go,fuel warning again,so started short shifting in hope.As i came out into pit straight for the final time with.3 litres,engine started to cough,just made it over the line before it died.Happy with 5th.

That was a fun race. Qual was pretty good but Barry Hedrick just beat me out of pole.

Got a great start but of course being on the outside line I had to give it up to Barry. Watching replay I see I had quite enough room to turn in but thats okay, Barry was clearly the fastest car out there. We had a nice few corners and I drove my butt off to try and keep up, but no way. Soon I had Roman all over me and it was looking like I would drop to third.

After about 10 laps Barry had an off and handed me first, but again it didn't take long for Barry to pass Roman and then catch me again. I ended up going wide in T1 and he had an big opening to stuff his car into.

I was hoping to close up some on the pit stop but I came out further behind after Barry stopped :( Third stint was pretty boring, I came out of my stop with 23 seconds behind and finished with 30 something.

Nice drive Barry, real nice to race with someone I know won't take me out :)

I got disco'ed with the checkered flag flying. In sector 3! :(

Thanks Kent. Gotta hand to you on the taking of the RS Porsche there bud...Great job!

Had a last lap run to take the pole and got a good start with me and Kent going in side by side into the first few turns and kept things real clean and just got in front of him to take the lead. After a few laps I had a 2 or 3 sec lead and wanted to take it a little easier on my tires. Got a little too lax and stepped off the track which handed the lead to Kent and Roman. now in 3rd place and quite a gap I had no choice but to use up some tires. Roman seemed to be overdriving it a bit and backed up to me when we all came up on traffic to bunch us all up. Things went pretty clean but a scary moment when we all split to go thru traffic and all came out clean and still right behind each other.

I finally got around Roman and was now on Kents tail going into turn 1. Kent went a little wide in turn 2 and I had the chance to pump under him and came out in 1st. Some good clean driving there Kent and thanks. Was able to keep a small gap when Kent went into the pits and gave me some breathing room. Now I could take it a little easier on my tires and make it to the end of the race. Came out of the pits in 1st place and finished 1st. :-)

Hats off to the traffic drivers...Great job!

Haha, man, this was my worst race ever.
At Qualy I managed to do only 1 lap, and then i shot the car out of track. To not affect others' rounds I hit ESC.
From the start on it was an amazing 1-2-3 fight with Kent and Barry. But my main opponent was my own car. I had to fight with my car, there was absolutely no grip with my set (its curious, on other servers it worked great (on a TT contest i drove a 1.24.9 with it). So i hit the car in corners as i used to do with the Viper lol
Like in other races I lost many positions during my pit stop.
Back on track then I went into sand and searched over a minute the keys for ignition and starter. The keys from my other user profile didnt work, guess I should check my key settings lol.

Good job Barry and Kent, no doubt, my maximum yesterday would be 3rd pos. You two were constantly faster than I was.
