Porsche Panoz Challenge

Nice race! Started 5th, finished 5th, not too bad... The first few laps were kind of hectic. I got up to 4th in the first few corners, then Tom Malanga got off the road and I had an opportunity to get past him, only to see him on the side of me and bumping him by mistake (sorry Tom!) Greg was right up my tail and I was pushing hard, making a few mistakes along the way but nothing that allowed him to pass. Well, until it was time to lap Bill Kaiser... Overshot the corner, allowing Greg to get through, then in the next few turns I hit Bill not once, but TWICE!!! Obviously he was helping Greg with his Panoz, Porkas get no respect any more... Anyway, Jim Barisoff got through too, and I regained that spot, only to throw it away at lap 17, when I made a mistake and got off the road, losing my front splitter. After that I just tried to bring it home, so 5th for me...

Zach its all good i should have just let u go.but my off was not all that bad and i was able to matian speed and control...Not your falt...all mine.Ty though for the sry.again after looking at the replay it was my fault since it was me that had the off not you..SO IAM SRY!!!.I was able to still pull off a 4th overall and a 2nd in class so not that bad after all.And a big ty to all those that i laped.you all gave room.TY again,had alot of fun getting back up to the front.GOOD RACE!!

Fun times, good race!

I took to the Panoz rather easily.. the 50/50 weight balance was a large benefit. This got the tires to wear evenly front-to-rear. I tried the Porsche earlier this week, but I am not familiar with the way it behaves in rF; I am used to the GTR2 Porsche cup cars.

After a solid qualifying, it was just a sprint for the first few laps followed by a gradual decrease in pace to save tire temperature, and the 'race was golden.'

This was a fun mix of cars. I got caught up in the first lap mess along with several others but managed not to hit anything so the car was OK; had fun chasing Burt around but didn't have anything for him. Tristan you were hooked up bud. You drove by me so fast I got out of my car and put a dime in the parking meter.

that was a fun race (and one of my best finishes). Qualifying 3rd was the key as it put me infront of the chaos on lap 1. That chicane is always tough with a pack of cars and the GTS can be a real pig on cold tires. Not surprised there was contact in there. Hung around in 4th most of the race trying to save the tires (was using my 3 Rivers set-up w/stiffer shocks). Was very happy to get from green to checker without a spin. There were also some very courteous moves by slower cars. I think this is a great series!
