Welcome to Lotus Elise

Very very bad race for me. Couldn't seem to control the car very well enough to make anything happen. Was consistently 1.5-2 seconds slower than everyone else. Qualified last and I only finished one spot higher because someone dropped from the server. I might have finished higher if I didn't make mistakes going into some corners and if someone, whoever it was, didn't bump me alittle bit going into a turn somewhere around beginning to middle of the race which sent me off the track. Dunno if I'll ever do a Elise race again.

Qualied almost identical to the previous race in time, but lined me up fourth on the grid. Had a good start, some of the other cars in front of me were a little high on caffeine (maybe it was lag), but by the end of lap 1 I was still in fourth (just like the previous race!). Daniel and I had a good batle for a lap or two and then he got away, and I was stationary in fifth for a few laps. Then one of the top four spun, and I was fourth, and then Maciej Bekas retired and I was suddenly in third. Had to focus really hard in the last three/four laps (I was tired). Interestingly I ran softs/softs and it felt a lot worse than my previous race on med/med.
I was very happy at the flag. My first podium since the beginning of February and-- more importantly-- my first podium in GTR2-- a very special evening.

Great 3rd place Franceso!! Outstanding. Save some of this for the FBs!

Thanks William, I had fun as well. My tires were pretty much shot too. One or two more laps and you probably would have had me.

Bill, most all replays are listed at the top of these results pages, I am not sure if the "Welcome Events" are made available by Tim, if not you might want to send Tim a PM and ask him for it.

Well, I'm not sure how they get the replay's off the server, but whenever you do a race it automatically saves it, and I imagine the same way for the server. Unfortunately, since it saves the replay as the name of the track, and will overwrite if you do another event, mine was overwritten because the server went onto the next session, and so all I have is 2 minute replay of a bunch of people sitting in the garage. I imagine if the server didn't quit fast enough, the same thing happened. Thats why many gtr2 replays probably are not here.
