What a disaster. Congrats on the pole and win, Bob. I was hoping to give you some competition, but I forgot something: I'm an idiot! My first front row start in stock cars, and I fooked it up. I got distracted by my wife and daughter both talking at the same time and spun myself pulling off the freaking pit road. From front row to shotgun before the race started. And it was all downhill from there. Not one of my more memorable events.

That's the way it goes sometimes, but nevertheless, it's been a fun first season in stock cars. I didn't expect to enjoy it so much. I've grown very bored with Nascar over the last couple of years, but watching it and (virtually) doing it are very different. It's been a lot of fun. Looking forward to S6.

That was one of the most intense races ive been in awile...I made to many mistakes to take the win...But i had a car that could have..means crap..i know...Very nice Bob.great job...matter of fact great job by all!!!!

My race was very eventful.I too 2 stop and goes ,that took me out of the hunt.My goal was to finish,that I did.Great racing with you guys.Top notch stuff!!!

I don't know what the Hell I'm going to have to do to finish a race. List of last 4 TPSCC races go like this....

1. Wifes 2yrs old nephew grabs steering wheel at start of race.

2. Caught in a wreck on second lap, blew both front tires.

3. Internet connection lost.

and finally, something I never would have expected to happen.....

4. The power went out with 10 laps to go.

What a night. I got pushed into the wall 20-something laps into the race. I was managing to continue with some damage until my power went out (the beginning of a 6.5 hour power outage due to weather). Everything but my controller and speakers were on my UPS. So with the power flickering I limped around for a lap before losing control again and hitting the wall. This left me still in the game but disabled. I hope my stalled car didn't ruin anyone's night. It looks like everyone else was able to continue.

Thanks guys, I had a ball! I had found a different approach to driving this track, which was not using the brakes at all. I found this out in offline practice when I managed a crapload of low 15s and a high 14. So I figured I try it in race. Sure enough, less than 30 laps of practice and I was in the 15.2s. But once qual started, I think I beat the car up a bit too much to get the tires up because the fronts were pretty toasty on my 1st lap. 2nd lap was a tick faster, but she wouldn't turn off of 2 and I bounced off the wall, resulting in a 15.5. I was shocked that I still got pole with plenty of fast times in practice. So pretty much I was right where I wanted to be, and just tried to keep it on point. What I forgot though was to disable repairs, because my 1st 2 stops I went a lap down in the pits and had to pick the pace up to make the laps back. My final stop though I still forgot to disable repairs, but somehow got out before I went a lap dow. That was the move of the race, because at that point I was the only one on the lead lap. Tom Malanga on new tires finally got around me after the restart, and I just kept him in sight knowing that he would have to get all the way around the track to fight for the top position. And pretty much, outside of the restarts, traffic and pitting, I never used the brakes! Great race, traffic was courteous!
