Team IGN Motorsports Grand Prix

Could not figure the setup to go any faster than low 1: 23s. So just setup to a very stable set that was forgiving and easy to drive and just drove smart and steady. Well my strategy paid off. Had a difficult time seeing my braking points because of the smoke coming out of Perriotos car(not to mention all the tear-offs i went through...lol). Then because I didnt practice pitstops I almost missed my pitstall and spun right in front of Chris Hack(my face turns red). After Chris drove out of his pitstall I then wiggled into mine(add 10 seconds). I remember Perrioto hitting a curb and flipping into the air right over my head(closecall-yeeha). I would post a screen shot of this if I knew how? Well Ron ran out of fuel and I inherited 2nd. Tried my best to catch Chris, but gap to much to overcome! Grats Chris. See yall at Mid Ohio:)

Your Right Luke ,I ran out of fuel or so it seemed.The funny thing is I could do 24 laps and still have some left.When approaching the pit entry I had 0.5 left when it quit.Needless to say I was somewhat shocked.

I had a personal best in Q which got me pole.Pole at a road course for me is very rare.Race was interesting in the fact that I stretched a gap and tried to keep a gap over Chris in second.He was able to get to me once after I had a bit of a PC slow down which caused me to spin in the final chicane. Was able to stretch the gap on Chris again.
Well done to you Chris for hanging in there and to Luke on a second Xico for 3rd.
Very disappointed I thought I had this one.

Felt sorry for Ron when Steve told me something had gone wrong for him in the pits and he was out, also took the fun out of my race!

Didn't get the time to put much practice in in these cars so was just hoping to not mess up and finish which due to Rons bad luck and the low turnout was enough to win.

Backed everything off after Ron went out and just coasted home ensuring I didn't make any silly mistakes.

Hopefully we'll get some bigger turnouts. Well done finishers and unlucky Ron
