Amazing race guys. 45 laps of near perfect nose-to-tail racing... the final 5 were rough and sweaty, just how they should be :-)

Not a great race for me, but it was okay.

Grabbed 3rd in qualifying. Cruised around behind the leaders for the first few laps. The car started getting really tight halfway through so I started falling back. I was at the mercy of those behind me as Matt eventually got by with about 10 to go while at the same time, missing every wreck that was happening. I guess Agustin had some issues so I grabbed 3rd right back and that's where I finally finished. Not too bad...I'll take a 3rd anyday :).

I'm the champ, from last to 2nd was a win to me. If you're good you can win from anywhere.

It was a great race with Agustin Canapino. He had passed me for the lead with just a few laps to go. We took different paths a round a spinner and he got clobbered. I beat the right front of my car up In that manuever and the ensuing bounce off the outside wall.

Matt, I'm sorry I bounced down the track into you at the end. I was trying to get my car back off the wall and when I did it made a sudden right turn. I didn't even know you were that close to me or I would have taken second.

Thanks to the lap cars that moved over for the leaders comming through. I know you didn't have to do that. And for the couple that I used the chrome horn to get by, I hope I didn't create any problems. Thats some times the only way to pass at Bristol.

Good race Timmy! Made a couple of last minute changes that ended up wrong, but took good notes and learned from them. Was a pretty good race for Bristol - folks in general did a good job.

BTW - will try to post some pics of the new racing surface soon. Am going down to the track one day next week to look around: recon duty :) Early reports sound good - they may have made progress towards restoring it to pre-concrete raceability.

Looks like I wasn't the only guy that had to crawl to the end.

This was my first race in the rFactor stock cars. And it was great fun. The 57 Ovation Chevy Monte Carlo team really pulled one out of their collective butts.

Spun myself out early and dropped back a bit, but then the car came into its own, and we pushed forward, caught up to some guys, got lapped, which was completely expected. Hope i didn't cause you speed demons any troubles. My whole race theory was pretty much hang on and keep going. Had a few close calls, got into the back of my own Teammate Tim R. as he was trying to get back onto track from his own adventures. Sorry Tim didn't mean to help you spin there, but there wasn't much i could do.

Surpised to find myself make it to 7th there at the end, attrition is my friend. Had a really good run there at the end with a couple of you we had to thread some needles but it flowed nicely, and some good racing with Mike Bush there in the middle of the race.

Good driving by everyone, some bad luck for a few. Good Race.

Well my first race with this mod at least I have all the downloads ok now... too bad I couldn't get in the rythm fast enough so I was a back marker here... and had to beat myself up against the wall to let all the cars by... anyway was turning high 15.xx at some point so I think I was slow but could have stayed more with the "back pack" if it wasn't for the damage caused by the wall... it was crazy with all those blue flags showing.

Rookie mistake here. I over-cooked the entry into T2, had to lift but lifted a bit too much and the ass end snapped right around. Sorry to all behind me, hope I didn't screw anyone.

I got Greg`s setup from the setup page and it was good except for one thing , RF tire severely overheated after only about 15 laps.Had no idea how to adjust for that so I went with it and sure enough, I had no tire left at the end.Sorry to everyone that was affected by the spin I had at the end.
