Formula BMW is a junior racing formula for single seater cars. It is positioned at the bottom of the motorsport career ladder alongside the longer established Formula Ford category. Like Formula Ford, it is intended to function as the young kart racing graduate's first experience of car racing. tuning is restricted to basic adjustment of the gear ratios, suspension, brake balance and wing angles. The engines are sealed to prevent illegal modifications. The engine was sourced from BMW's motorcycle division: it is a near-standard K1200RS motorcycle engine, in an inline four-cylinder configuration, with a capacity of 1171cc, and a power output of 140hp

Starter setup, take off wing as you fancy, but 142 down the final straight for about 10 seconds is how it will be!

Race Set. This car is odd. Low wing, but feels fine. Watch the FR tire wear, gets slippy at end. Have fun! ;)

race setup for Londrina. Good for low 1:18's and high 17's in race trim. Has a bit of under steer off throttle and is very hard on tires if ya over drive it. Prob work good at tracks like Lime Rock, Cadwel
