The "A" in GTA stood for "Allegerita", or Italian for lightweight. Not shy with the use of aluminum panels, Alfa Romeo turned out a great handling sports car. With a live rear axle, the rear end stays nice and firm on acceleration. Combined with a torquey DOHC Inline 4, and the only 5 speed gearbox in the TC65 class, the Alfa has great useable power in all types of corners. Don’t be afraid to induce a slight tail drift entering corners, and feed the power smoothly and you’ll get great results.
