Lotus Cortina
The brain child of Ford Public Affairs chief Walter Hayes, and his close friend, Lotus boss Colin Chapman. Together, they took a small family sedan, and turned it into an instant classic race car. By stuffing in a twin-cam engine, replacing many body panels with aluminum, and suspension tweaks by Chapman, the Lotus-Ford partnership created an easy to drive (and drift) machine. Drive it like the Alfa, by inducing a slight tail drift, and power out of turns, using the throttle to help steer. - Jerry Chen
