Lister Storm

Lister was once a British sports car company on par with Aston Martin and Jaguar in the 50s, but it faded away after the tragic death of one of the best factory drivers. It resurfaced in the 80s as a Jaguar tuner, but returned to racing in the late 90's. However, by 2003/2004, the Storm was showing its age and Lister had moved onto developing their Lister Strom LMP car for the 2003 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Storm carried a mid mounted 7 litre Jaguar V12 on a less than stellar aero package. Low on power and speed, the Storm had slight tendency to understeer, with a nasty snap oversteer on corner exit. But drive it smoothly, and the car can feel very stable. The Storm has excellent brakes, so don't be afraid to duck under and beat your opponents into the corners. Tire wear is almost non-existent when compared with the other GT1 cars, and it sips fuel through a tiny straw, so be smart with your pit strategies and you can pass your opponents in the pits.
