Lime Rock Park is a 1.5 mile (2.6km) road course located in the beautiful hills of Northwestern Connecticut. Despite its relative small length, the track presents numerous challenges: from sharp changes in elevation, to both fast and slow technical corners. The track can be run in two configurations, the difference being a chicane introduced to slow down the cars in the fast uphill section. Big Bend, the fast first turn with a decreasing radius, demands almost all the skill sets of the racing driver’s canon, while the last turn plunges steeply downhill and sets you for the front straight. Lime Rock Park was built in 1955, and is within an easy drive from New York City. It has been an extremely popular venue for motor sports in North America, and has hosted almost every major series in the US. It is currently owned by Skip Barber and it hosts his racing school. - Francesco Zargani
