Loudon, also known as New Hampshire International Speedway is a one-mile oval and the premier oval track in New England; it is located within an easy one hour drive from Boston and it hosts two Nascar races every year. Loudon also offers a superb road course configuration. The track opened in 1990, and it was purchased this by Speedway Motorsports, Inc. in 2008. The track has also hosted ChampCars/Indy Cars from 1992 to 1998. Bobby Rahal, Nigel Mansell, Jeff Gordon, and Tony Stewart have been notable winners; Rahal and Mansell in Indy cars, Gordon in stock cars, and Stewart the only one who has won in both. The most wins to date though, belong to Jeff Burton with four.
