Enna Pergusa

Built in 1961, it was high speed circuit because of rather simple layout (almost oval). During the years circuit was modified bit by bit, mainly by adding chicanes. In 1970 chicanes Prosperina and Pineta were added. Year after, 1971, another pair of chicanes were added called Zagaria. 1975 saw anoter pair of chicnaes added, Vivaio and Piscine, and part of circuit in between them modified. Final modifications were done in 1995, another chicane, Schumacher, was added. This Sicilian circuit is located near Pergusa, 5km south from Enna. - Enis Dauti
